Mindful TattooingTM ?

Mindful Tattooing™ is a new way of experiencing tattoos – mindful, holistic and deeply connected. It’s not just about the tattoo itself, but about your personal journey towards it.

The day is designed as a conscious ritual. You are guided with presence and care and can choose how you want to arrive and prepare for your tattoo – for example, with Breathwork, Yin Yoga or Moving Meditation. This creates space for calm, clarity, and genuine presence.

Mindful Tattooing™ is grounded in a mindset of respect, openness and appreciation. Everyone is welcome – we create a safe space where you can feel at ease and show yourself authentically.

MEDITATION
Breathwork is a practice of conscious breathing that supports you in finding inner calm and becoming present. The breath connects body and mind and helps you arrive in the here and now. One form of this is the conscious connected breath – a flowing rhythm without pauses between inhalation and exhalation, accompanied by awareness and openness toward whatever arises.

Before getting tattooed, breathwork helps you settle physically and mentally. The breathing techniques from your arrival phase can be continued during the tattoo session to stay connected in a meditative way and experience the ritual with more awareness.
Yin yoga is a quiet, passive practice. The positions are held for several minutes without muscular engagement. In contrast to the active, dynamic qualities of yang, yin brings balance – especially within the fascia, joints and meridians (energy pathways). This form of yoga supports you in letting go, calming the mind and sensing your body more consciously.

Before getting tattooed, yin yoga helps you arrive within yourself – physically and mentally. You can release tension in the tattoo area and prepare for your ritual with awareness and ease.
Moving Meditation is a powerful expression with your body and your energy. Through shaking and free movement, you bring motion into areas that hold tension and open yourself to the moment. The transition into a calm breath and quiet meditation guides you deeper into sensing and into letting go.

Before getting tattooed, moving meditation awakens your vitality and brings you into a conscious connection with yourself. This allows you to experience the ritual with clarity and an awake, attentive presence.
